Rouen Ducks
The Rouen Ducks are other types of breed which has got body color similarity with the Mallard ducks. So it often poses a problem for people to distinguish it from other breeds. But in case of this breed the males and females can be easily distinguished. The drakes weigh about 6-7 pounds and are green headed. There is a white collar that is present in their neck region and the entire body color is grey or brownish white. Their breast region is often dark black or brown in color. They have yellow colored medium bill and the legs are brown or orange. The ducks weigh about 5-6 pounds and are generally brown in color. Many times deep brown spots or marks are present in the whole body. They are medium billed and its color is faded yellow. The legs are orange or faded yellow in color. The Rouen Ducks lay about 90-110 eggs or more per year.
