Rouen Clair Ducks

The Rouen Clair Ducks are a breed which has its origin in France and are much like the Rouen ducks. But the only way to distinguish it with the Rouen breed is that this one is straighter and a bit taller in appearance. But their body color is much similar with that of the Rouen’s. The drakes weigh about 8-9 pounds and are green headed. There is a thin white collar that encircles the entire neck region of the drakes. The rest of their body is brown or coffee colored. The color of the bill is yellow and the legs are orange. The ducks weigh about 6-7 pounds and are devoid of any such collars. The ducks have brownish white body color with occasional brown spots over the body feathers. The color of their bill and legs are both orange. The Rouen Clair Ducks lay about 100-120 eggs per year. These ducks are found on both lands and also in water.
