Anconas Ducks
The Anconas Ducks is a breed which has its origin in England. This breed is mainly available only in a single variety and that is the popular black and white combo. They have dense white plumage. They are generally long billed ducks and the color of the bill is orange. The color of their legs is either yellow or orange. The Anconas are referred as a calm species of ducks. They like to roam and move in groups. They don’t prefer to remain single. There is no such problem with their diet. They can be fed with grain and also with the worms and snails. Due to this they can be reared easily in many poultries. The drakes generally weigh about 5-6 pounds and the ducks weigh around 4-5 pounds. They are reared in the poultries both for their meat and also for their eggs. The ducklings of Anconas are yellowish black in color and takes about 5-6 weeks to get mature.
